Is there a dForce surface property for a surface's weight?

Hi all,

I know there's the "gravity" slider in the simulation settings, but I'm looking for something more specific to a surface (dForce hair, specifically).

I use the full fringe hair a lot and I really like it. The issue I have however is that it will often not drape straight down but rather a little fluffed out to the side. I'd like to make the strands heavier so they go more vertical.
