Suggestions for reinstalling and organizing libraries

I'm deciding whether or not to do a complete reinstall on my entire content directory, a lot of things are loading slow, duplicate file errors and crashes. Any suggestions for organizing the runtime? Years ago I had separate folders for figures and hair and stuff but once install manager came along i stuck with that and now everything is in one location. Does anyone make separate runtimes for different Genesis generations and for shaders and such? does it work well like that in studio?

Duplicate file or duplicate formula errors? reisntalling/reorganising won't help with the latter - you need to figure out the source of the name clahes (or, more rarely, identify the mis-configured file) and get them fixed. Crashes too are unlikely to the result of the way the content is arranged, and losw loadign might be only if you have a lot of separate content directories (and slow drives).
when designing library strategy,
incorporate a back up strategy.
learned the long way not to backup entire 300fb lib. and backup things i would cry if lost.
lost a whole bunch of my carrrara scene inventory,

much conversion work.
or power interuption shutdowns, or sneeze the wrong way
flash drives corrupt easily if withdrawn too soon
