#1 With the Q shirt loaded and fitted to Michael 8, and both the tie and the shirt collision items set to none Michael is invisible when rendered.

#2 With the Q jacket (open) there are no materials under the surfaces (color) tab. The jacket closed is ok.

#3 With the Q jackets (both)  loaded and fitted to Michael 8, and Q jacket, Q Jacket Button 1, Q Jacket Button 2, collision items set to none Michael is invisible when rendered.

Im am rendering in 3Delight (default values) and have just re-installed DAZ Studio 4.12.0.86 Pro edition (64 bit) PC with 8GB of ram.

The shoes and pants are ok once the collision items are set to none.

Thank you

You'd need to file a support ticket for a fix since it's a Daz Original product and the forums are peer to peer (run by volunteers, not precisely Daz staff).

    In which version of DS?

I'm not seeing the shirt/tie invisible Genesis 8 Male issue in 4.12.0.86.

  • In which version of DS?

DAZ Studio 4.12.0.86 Pro edition (64 bit) PC and thanks I will keep investigating..

    Thank you.

  • Changing the Genises 8 male resolution to base (only) fixes the transparencey problem for the jacket (none of the jacket parameters are changed).

For the shirt and tie changing the Genises 8 male resolution to base and setting the tie collision items to none fixes the transparencey problem. No need to adjust the shirt collision item.
