dForce exploding if more than 1 object is simulated at once
in The Commons
I have 3 figures, 2 with dforce hair and all 3 wearing dForce clothing. I have a simple 15 frame simulation of them sitting into chairs to get the bends correctly. If I freeze all but one at a time it works flawlessly, but if I try to simulate 2 or more at once the content explodes and the application locks up.
They are not close to each other and none of the figures or clothing are intersecting each other.
It seems like new issues pop up with this daily.

I think dForce is looking at ALL the visible geom for its evaluation whether there's interaction or not. With that many figures though, you might need to break the scene up then merge once the sims are complete. The workflow I use with multiple layered wardrobe is to hide everything not needed, then work from your innermost layer to the outer ones, simming then freezing.
That's what Im trying to say though in the second bit. There is no interaction between the dforce clothing. There is no laying, no collision. If I simulate the dress one person is wearing while also simming the shirt another is wearing on the other side of the scene they both explode. If I only sim one, they work smoothly.
They are not both jumping to the origin as the starting point for the simulation?
Maybe try more frames in the simulation? I had this problem, IIRC,and found going to a long sim fixed it.
