Shoes without heels will usually autofit well.

Autofitting shoes in general is hit or miss, but as Hylas noted, there may be workarounds.
In my experience, I've had better luck autofitting Genesis and Genesis 2 to G3F than any previous gen to Genesis 8. This is why I like it when PAs release a G3 + G8 version of their outfits with shoes. Saves me the trouble of attempting to correct the autofit errors.
