Do you think this will work ok with Iray?  Windows 10 Home, AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, ASUS TUF X570-PLUS GAMING Motherboard w/WiFi, MSI VENTUS GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8GB Video Card, 16GB DDR4-3200MHz ADATA RGB Memory, 1TB Intel M.2 NVMe SSD

    Will work fine depending on the scene. the more you add to a scene, the more performance drops. With those specs, 2 clothed figures, hair and an environment should do well.

    I have a 2070 and it handles 3 figures easily and with some optimizing more.

    With Iray, it's mostly about the GPU, so that should be a good one. If you want to render complex scenes, you want an Nvidia card with as much memory on it as you can afford. 8GB should be enough for a lot of situations, but even with 12GB on the card I have, I find that I need to optimize some scenes/sets if they have really large textures. I'm really glad to have Scene Optimizer to help with that.
