Product Updates in DIM with no Corresponding Info

I see this quite often and find it quite a pain. I'll go to DIM and will say a product has an update available (real example: Toon Hero for G8M). I'll click on the product info link in DIM to open its page at Daz3d, however the product info does list any "Resolved Issues". What actually am I'm updating and why? Not all of us are on unlimited bandwidth and downloading a few hundred megabytes for some unknown reason is a pain, even worse if it's like a gigabyte or two of data.

Why does Daz not actually tell us why the product was update?

If you go to the product readme page, it tells what was updated.  You can go here (http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/start), and search by sku # or product name.  The search is on the upper right hand side.  Hope this helps.

Except that some updates have no info added to the ReadMe, so as the OP said you can't always tell.

For PC+ items, Jen Greenlees keeps a fairly up-to-date log of changes in this thread: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/34725/updated-products#latest

But there's nothing like that for the store in general.

Some do, unfortunately quite a few also do not. For example the Toon Hero example I give. There is an update sitting in my DIM, but there is no corresponding info on what was updated. It just seems a very weird practice that makes no actual sense. If the vendor went to the trouble to fix something, why not let us know?

Sometimes the issues can be packaging or a missing file, or the vendor did not add the information on what was updated in the information submittet to DAZ.

I have in my notes on the character that he did not load with eyelashes or eyebrows and there were no way to add them on manually. I haven't received an update myself for him.

I checked on my copy of Toon Hero and he is still missing eyelashes and eyebrows. See the snip of his head. I think I did an uninstall initially and reinstall. So I have no idea why he came this way.
