Change pivot of a group

Hello all,

is it possible to change the pivot point of a group? By default it's at one corner of the bounding box. That's fine for moving, but not so helpfull if I want to rotate to group.

I  added a dummy object and use that as a parent for the group as a workaround, but I wonder if it is possible without that additional object.

Any hint is wellcome.

You can use the joint editor tool to change the pivot points, but I'm not a pro at it.  I just usually pull the green and the red little circles around until they are both in the same place, and that's where the new rotation point is.

Honestly, what I always do is just create a new group with everything, even if its a group of a group, and that way the new pivot point will be the "middle" of all of the contained items, at floor level.  If it's a scene you're going to be going back to, like a set or something, then it's worth it to do it the right way so things don't get confused, but if it's a one and done render burn, you can just group them so you can easily manipulate and then forget about after you render.

Thanks a lot for your replies. Yes, I forgot to mention the software, it's DAZ Studio.
