You are trying to open an archive (installer?) and those files give errors, or you are trying to load a .duf file into Daz Studio and it complains that those files are missing? How are you unpacking the files, and if this is loading a .duf file how did you install them? Is this the Carlos Hair product https://www.daz3d.com/carlos-hair-for-genesis-8-and-genesis-3-males or an add-on of some kind?
I'm trying to open the .Duf file and it says I'm missing some files. It is unpacked with winrar from the folder that I have uploaded to the drive
If you just extract like that there is a good chnace you will end up with the "Content" folder from the zip, which shouldn't be there. It's more reliable to isntall using Install Manager or from within Daz Studio.
I don't know what you mention. Could you explain to me how please? Sorry about my awkwardness
eboca, DS expects to find certain files in certain places.
If you have downloaded something from another site, after you unpack it, usually you have to manually move the files.
For example, the texture files can be moved to My DAZ Library > runtime > textures
The model files can be moved to My DAZ Library > runtime > geometry
Data files go in My DAZ Library > runtime > data
Look through your My DAZ Library > runtime folder to see how the files are usually distributed.
You can use subfolders for the various parts as long as you give them the same names. For example, if it's a Penguin, you can make a MyPenguin folder inside runtime >geometry for the model and another MyPenguin folder inside runtime > textures to hold the materials that will be attached to your geometry.
