Victoria 4.2 skin texture problem

Hi Everyone,

A few days ago, I opened an old file and noticed an odd occurance to the shoulders texture in V 4.2.  White stripes around the shoulders.  Today opened a newer file that I've been using regularly, and aw the same problem, although the colors are darker.  Any idea whats happening and how to fix it.  I did try re-applying the texture already.  Didnt seem to help.

The figure is Victoria 4, not Genesis?

Does it happen with oher Victroia 4 materials, assuming you have any to test?

  • Its happened in two different saved files.  One several years old, and one I worked with in the last couple days with no probalm.  And I just opened another recent file with no probems.  But its happening to all the character textures in the two files that I've found with a problem so far.  I did try test loading a new file with V4.  Brand new I mean.  The problem didnt happen there.

I looked under surfaces.  And found adjusting the verticle and horizontal tiles and offset makes these patches grow.  But nothing seems to make them disapear.

That sound like a possible issue with the figure data, perhaps the UVs are not correct. I'm not sure how fixable that is - the obvious thing to do is save presets for everything, start a new scene, load the parts, and apply the saved presets to rebuild - you coudl first try doing that with all of the V4 figures, then delete them and save (under a new name), restart, load new Victoria 4s and reapply the presets.
