Scaling hands

So I was working with a character, and I found her hands a bit too big compared to the rest of her body.  I tried selecting the hand with children to try to scale it down, but only the main section scaled down.  I then had to scale each finger, which was a little tedious.

Is there a faster way to get this done?

After selecting the hand with children in the Scene Pane, did you highlight (select) them all in the Paramater pane before you applied scaling? That's works for me. YMMV.
