Blender 2.8.2a is out

Bug fixes and a little more stable but now has udim support. I wonder if the scripts that let you transfer daz stuff to blender will support this feature?

It can, and it will do so unless the Collapse UVs option is set.

I've used the diffeomorphic plugin with this update just fine the other day.

UDIM means having diffrent UV islands displaced a whole number of units, usually in a strip along the U axis. Most applications will correctly apply materials, since out of rnage coordinates have always wrapped, but it's relatively new to have applications formally use the system. Genesis 3 and 8 use UDIMs to spread the different maps along the U axis, nstead of having them stacked in the [0,1] square.
