Best Way to Save SBH for use in many different scenes

What is the best way to save SBH for use in many different scenes?
It has three SBH pieces for each surface region that has fur but all surface regions are one the same base model.
Scene subset? Wearables preset? Character preset? Or something else?
Also, should the SBH pieces be parented to the character they belong to? Or is just using the 'Fit To' button on the SBH itself enough? Is it need to both parent to and fit to the parent model? Can it be done either way as I short of like keeping the Scene tab free from the clutter many objects at the root level of the scene?

Can you please let us know what you mean by SBH and then maybe somebody can help you.
That means Strand-Based-Hair. It's the nearly intergrated in DAZ Studio former Girabaldi product that gets converted to dForce hair in some new products, eg German Shepherd for DAZ Dog 8.
