"Who framed Roger Rabbit?" seems to be becoming "Who made Jessica Rabbit's Dress ... this time?" cheeky

Just curious if I'm the only one who saw the new "dForce Natasha Rose Outfit for Genesis 8 Female(s)" and thought, "Someone is making Jessica Rabbit's dress, again!"? blush

The original dress doesn't come in red, though red is among the add-on options.

It amuses me, I guess. wink Poor Roger. So few seem to remember him, though so many recall his wife! surprise

(Please feel free to include any Roger or Jessica Rabbit images you find yourself inclined to share, along with any other replies. As long as they don't violate forum rules, of course! wink )

    I am pretty sure Marilyn Monroe and others donned that style long before Mrs Rabbit cheeky

    but it is popular 

    Rita Haywood probably rocked it first in in Gilda

    I figured the dress style had not originated with "Jessica Rabbit." wink She's only the most recent source of fame, for this dress style, that I've heard about. I don't hear everything, so ... blush

    Thanks for the picture, WendyLuvzCats! That dress looks very similar. Is the skirt missing a thigh-high side-slit? I can't tell, from the angle of the picture.

    Looks like maybe J. Rabbit's hairstyle might have been inspired by that lady, too. smiley

    Isn't it fascinating how one thing inspires another, until it becomes a "classic," and then it just keeps on going? laugh

    ... and that's also a valid point, Luciel. "Roger Rabbit" was the title character, and often the focus, though not the main character.

    @WendyLuvsCatz has it exactly. Jessica Rabbit was modeled after Rita Hayworth in Gilda. Robert Wiliams was the artist. The film's director told him he wanted her to look like Rita Hayworth with the attitude of Lauren Bacall.

    Thus, Jessica's famous line:" . . .  I was drwn this way". Factoid: Rita Hayworth was the most popular pinup girl in Wolrd War II.

    What Jessica needs is a good rogering. Okay so to go off topic, I liked the poster of Gilda in Shawshank Redemption. Now to go way off topic, I bust a gut laughing at the poster and what was done to it in the Family Guy scene parody of Shawshank Redemption. We now return you back to Jessica kissing Eddie good night.
