Phoe by Spows - thanks for a great figure

I really don't understand why I have to start this thread... This is one of the best male figures for DAZ that I've seen since starting to work with DAZ. It was an instant buy for me.

In my rendition I did some small changes... I added the HD details from Old Chap and used some other eybrows than those coming with Phoe - which are nice, but I wanted a different look - and I changed the width of the head by about -20% or so, to make the face a bit slimmer...

Nonetheless, this is an utterly great figure, which - apart from having lots of joker-esque textures - offers tons of opportunities to make up interesting and lifelike males in DAZ.

So really, really, really big thanks to Spows for making him.

Thank you for the thread. I just hit the cart button immediately and later looked at the pictures. What a great character.

I really like Spows' characters. I have a lot of them ;) Not crazy about the clown stuff, but I don't have to use those LOL

It's an decent Joachim Phoenix nod, but a great character for mixing.  Probably doesn't appeal as much to the Naked Michael in a Temple holding a I sure Hope That's a Sword crowd, but it was an instant buy for me.

well, there's always use for stuff like that, if you want to clown around or try something strange... like...

Harley Quinn changing her make up after a cinema visit ^^

I used an UV swap addon to get a G8M skin on a G8F and then applied Phoe's "makeup" and his "normal face" to reduce the wrinkles...

A query in another thread reminded me I had done a render of Phoe. I had hesitated to post it because the pose I used and the chair, put the feet and chair bottom at different heights and it is visible. But, it doesn't take away from the great character.

Now we're in the forums.  devil

  • OK, I haven't gotten Phoe yet, so rephrasing a question I asked in another thread... has anyone installed this character with DIM?  Any bugs we need to be made aware of in advance?

I notice that a number of recent PA characters have been guilty of doing strange things to end user's runtimes (overwriting Genesis base characters, dialing up morphs that refuse to dial back down).  Has anyone experienced those problems with Phoe?

Because if not, then this will definitely be my next purchase.

I install always by DIM, unless there is a specific reason you can't. No problems noted, on the character or the metadata. I have a lot of male characters, although not all, but have not noticed any issues with them.

You should be good to go and then just enjoy.
