Beastman isn't rendering? what could cause this?

i re-d/l the lamh free player.
re applied the mat file
i can see his texture and the hairs in preview.
he won't render :(

Do you have the Default Lights and Shaders for DS installed? Sounds like an AoA Subsurface Shader problem.
i installed everything that came with ds4.6. i'll dbl check d/l everything.
i'm using the lightset that came with Neon Labs. http://www.daz3d.com/neon-labs
do i need one of them specular only lights?

i loaded the 1beastman_chr, without the lmah and he rendered. would've liked the furry version. for a long suffering boyfriend for Girl6. :lol:
gonna try satyros next - he also has lamh preset.

y'know what, i completely reinstalled ds last week, i may have forgot the defaults and shaders thing.

Without the hair he should still be using the Subsurface Shaders. Did you try him again with the hair after the hairless version rendered?
This is a lighting problem. The hairs are rendering, but the lights/surfaces are so bright that everything is washed out,

- reinstalled the default lights and shaders.
i reloaded the 3lamh version. without any lights, he renders :)
i'm rerendering with the neon lights for utopia labs to see if that was it.
i also, originally had him in the edi vehicle. didn't check if it also has lights. re-render.
thanks guys :) now i understand it was a lights problem.
:bug: noooooo. was stuffing back in the edi, crashhh. does this mean i was clicking too fast? i was moving a slider.
