Install Manager Won't Install

Trying to install Daz Install manager on my workplace rig but it keeps crashing during the install. The little Daz window pops showing the install starting up and then it just vanishes.
Any ideas?
Our IT department installed the main program but nothing else. All the tabs like Smart Content are all empty.

Which main programme did the IT department install?
It was 4.12 64 bit.
Weird, on the company PC, when I try to launch Daz through windows start button,---> All Programs , the Daz folder only has "Uninstall Daz". There are no sub folders. I gotta launch it using the shortcut on the desktop.

It sounds like a permissions issue. Do you have the proper "permissions" to install programs on your computer?
Recently at the College where I teach my permissions got changed and the exact same thing happened to me when I tried to install anything.
Yes. Both the IT guy and myself have permissions. We both launched the installer using run as admin and it just crashes.
Maybe a corrupt download? Have you tried deleting your installer and re-downloading? Just guessing here, but I have had similar problems with corrupt downloads too (though you probably already tried it).
We downloaded it twice. Once when I logged into the rig and a second time with the IT guy. Boss is getting kinda a pissed because I'm exclusively working on my 2 x 2080 Ti 2950x threadripper rendering/gaming rig from home. Wants me to come into the office more and use this company machine. I did manage to manually install iray library I could run Sickelyield's benchmark. It ran it almost 5 times slower compared to my home rig. The company rig is running a 3 year old p5000 Quadro.

Using my corporate Daz account to post this.
As I mentioned previously, the only option available in the Daz startup folder is the "Uninstall DAZ PostgreSQL CMS"
Does this mean they used the manual install download since there's no record of "Install Manager" being used? Could that be the reason install manager won't install?
OP again,
just noticed IT installed another security feature on my corparate work station called "HP Start Smart". It removed adminstration rights so I can't even uninstall Daz or install it. This adds almost another minute for the rig just to boot up. So it takes 3 to 4 minutes now just to start up. Download speeds are like 200 kb/s per second now. Unbelievable.
