Cannot open File Does Not Exist

So, I transferred all of the "My Daz Connect Library" content to the "My DAZ 3D Library" directory in order to save memory/storage space. Everything works(ed) as expected, with the sole exception of the Genesis base characters. Every time I attempt to load the base character file, I get the "Resource Error" (as in the attached image). But here is the mystery - I can still drag and drop the File into DAZ with no issues (i.e. no corruption to the file) - the Files and their .duf Icons still appear in the Library Menu within the running Daz App - and right click "Browse to File Location" from the Library Icon, DAZ knows (recognizes) exactly where file is located. I have reinstalled all the Genesis Base Files (Essentials) and the working DAZ Application multiple time with no change in the error issue! What the freak happened?! Is anybody else having this problem? Does anybody know how to fix this? It is incredibly frustrating!!!

  • How did you transfer - just copy the Data folder across?

How did you transfer - just copy the Data folder across?

That was the first thing I did...this issue started after having done just that. (???)

The following paths are in both folders:

C:\Users\----\OneDrive\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Daz Connect Library\data\cloud\meta   <<<(this is the copied FROM folder)

D:\DAZ 3D\My Daz Connect Library\data\cloud\meta   <<<(This is the copied TO folder)

  • There should be a lot of numbered folders in D:\DAZ 3D\My Daz Connect Library\data\cloud\ too, and D:\DAZ 3D\My Daz Connect Library\ should either be set as the Daz Connect data foler or a Daz Studio Format and a Poser Format Content Directory.
