Newer version of Daz Studio

I have Daz Studio 4.1 installed, and just downloaded 4.12. Will it simply update the old version, or will I have to install everything again?

I believe that if you point it where you have your library of stuff installed, it will be good to go.

I finally made the jump to upgrade last week, as Damsel said as long as it's installed in the same directory it will be good.

4.1 would be really old - I assu me you   mean 4.10.x.x (the numbers aren't decimals, trailing zeroes matter)
