Question about Uninstalling and Re-Installing

Hello!  I asked this in the thread devoted to the AFE product, but that turned out to be an excercise in futility.  I KNOW this is a newbie question, but I'm really confused here and I could really use some expert advice from you all.  The proposed fix for what I'm dealing with is to "completely" uninstall AFE and then do a complete "manual" re-install.  I've seen some threads where people say simply uninstalling through DIM is enough, and others where they say it isn't.  I'm not too confident navigating through the various library folders without being directed to do so, but if I need to I can.  My questions are this:

1)  To completely uninstall the AFE for G8F, am I supposed to just check the box in DIM and then run the uninstall?  Are there specific folders in my library I should delete, or verify are deleted?  Is there anything else I should do?

2)  To manually install it, am I supposed to just do the thing where I manually paste the files?  I downloaded the files from the order page on DAZ, is that what I'm supposed to do?

I know these questions are common sense to some, but they aren't to me, and it seems the guys over there in that thread are not interested in such mundane questions.  I'm sure that for someone who knows the answers it would just take a few minutes to help me.

    It's the Auto Face Enhancer product.  I keep seeing the instructions to completely remove and to manually install... and people are being specific to say that... so I'm just trying to find out what they mean.

    I would assume that DIM uninstalls all files for a product it has installed.  Reading the AFE thread though I'd personally just wait for DAZ to fix it.

    I'm thinking that's the right way to go... I guess I'll just wait.  I thought DIM, also, but it was mentioned that might not be enough.  I guess that's the cause of my concern and question. 

    I asked them over there 3 times, though, and so I think at this point either everybody is guessing and doesn't know, or nobody can be bothered to spell it out for an idiot like me.

    I'll just wait this out and let everybody else figure it out... and if it isn't fixed by the time the week is coming up I'll just return and never look back.
