Hi,

If I return an item (because of low quality) that has triggered %offs then I had to return the whole cart?

    Well, it's either return the whole cart [and delete all those products from your computer, etc.] OR pay the higher price for everything else. Normally it's cheaper just to keep the one item ;-)

    If the amount of $ is important, one could return the whole cart and rebuy the other products when next they go on sale.

    It very much depends on the terms of the actual sale.   If the item you want to return was working to produce or increase the discount percentage then yes you would have to surrender all the were affected.  On the other hand if taking it out of the cart would not have altered the disvount on the other items then you may be OK.   Best thing is to file a ticket and expalin, screen shots of cart contents  are alwasy helpful
