Is there a second skins or equivalent tutorial?

That is such old tech, I haven't seen many of those style products in awhile, but it used to be a big deal in the V4 days and I remember seeing a few products dealing with it over at Renderosity. Look for a product called CLOTHER if I remember correctly
I suppose todays LIE system might be a better subject for a tutorial.
Lie, ShaderMixer, Geometry Shells, or any combo of the three will do the job.
Darkworld at Renderosity continues to turn them out. The big catch, of course, is that a second skin perfectly fits the body since it IS the body, so everything is literally skin tight and shows every modeled detail, and you also get weird stuff like painted feet instead of shoes.
yep, I see them when I visit the rendo MP, but never buy any because they are still a carryover from the V4 days. Vendor Lululee has a bunch of SS products for later figures also at Rendo. I did these types of addons for years with game design and SIMS creations and while they have their place, I don't prefer them with HD type rendering. I do have a couple of stocking products that use this method and they work well with geoshells and help with shoe fits, but I wouldn't recommend them for anything more.
Actually the kind of thing I need is a piece from Vyktohri's sexy skins which as I understan itto be a geoshell creation. The problem is I need it for one piece on a one time experiment and can't justify $20 just to kit bash it. So I though maybe if I had a tutorial I could create the item.
There's a thread here that covers some of what you're interested in, but I don't know of a specific free tutorial.
