DIM Update Question -- HELP! -- RESOLVED!
I just got a notice of a DIM update, so I went ahead and clicked on it. Please see the picture of the screen I got. Does this mean I'm forced to install DS 4.12? Or can I just cancel out of it without changing anything?

I was about to say, "I've never seen a screen liek that in DIM" when I had a thought and fired up DIM. And I've got an update ... so let's see what falls out the other side ...
Oh hell, update broke ... so won't be able to help you until I fix my own stuff!
This screen is sitting on my desktop right now and I'm afraid to go any further with it. I suppose I can always set it back to an earlier time to undo it, but...
Can't you just uncheck that box? It looks like it's just there to make sure first-time users get all the absolute essentials.
Okay, Gordig, I just tried this and it seems to work fine. I can still get into DAZ Studio and it works fine. I was afraid to do that in case it messed it up. Thanks for the help!
Never seen that dialog before, not sure if it's new or not, but as you have found you can just say no. I found it by going to Settings (little cog in top tight) and selecting Default Insall sets ...
My issue was an internal Windows thing where the OS decided I did not have permission to delete certain files ,, a reboot cleared that up, at least.
You can Cancel it, and you can Uncheck Show Automatically if you don't want it popping up in future. It will pop-up withotu unchcking until at least one of the Install Sets (which is a new feature, see the release notes thread) has been fully installed.
The update broke DIM so I downloaded DIM installer from the website and it's broken too.

Redownloaded DIM again just a little while ago and it worked this time.
