How can i change the default Material in Daz Studio (likes Lambert, Blinn, Phong...) for shaping purposes

    You mean shading purposes not shaping purposes. 

    The iRay engine might use those techniques internally but you can't modify the materials to invoke one specific shader model as compared to the other. You shoul instead look at the 3DL Renderer and openGL Basic or Intermediate Renderers as to how to create and assign materials that would cause one of those shading models to be invoke.

    Also in the DAZ Studio viewport there is a drop down menu of shading models too.

  • May I suggest taking a crawl through the ShaderMixer blocks?  Those options are selectible on the "Specular" brick in a standard DS Default Shader configuration.  Just apply almost any free shader (see ShareCG for best selection), open the ShaderMixer tab, and go to Import From Scene.
