Not really. I mean... you just visit them personally to make sure they are real people and their birthday is indeed when they say it is. :D

Not too hard. Have a qualifying prior spend, and limit it to 1 or two items. That way it simply becomes not worth the effort or expense to exploit. You could even limit it to PC members. Again, not worth the expense of a subscription to get 80% of an item.

I try not to share that much information online and if I need to use January 1 my birth year

It's now become something that needs to be specifically coded.. genereated per user (I assume daily) with conditional elements...  I'm not saying it's not a nice idea in principle, but to implement becomes a little more involved (which is an understament).

And of course it then has to be decided if it was going to be retrospective,  otherwise those who were spending money at Daz before there was even a forum to get ratty in will get miffed because they didn't use to get such privileges.
