You either need to carefully sculpt them so that the texture is not stretched so much, or tackle the texture map itself in a program that allows you to paint on the model with the texture applied.
Is there actually something that will let a person paint directly on the model? Because that was what I was asking for here:
Yes there is, but you will need to either export the model to the apporiate program, or if you have zBrush, you can use the GoZ bridge with Daz Studio (IIRC you need the full version of zBrush to do this). For free, you can use the painting tools in Blender, or for a modest price you and use BlackSmith 3D (at renderosity), or for a bit more you could use 3D Coat. I use BlackSmith 3D and like it quite a bit, but zBrush, 3D Coat, and Blender will give you better visual feed back.
Unfortunately, there is no way to do this in DS.
Edit: Opps, Ellessarr already responded with an option I wasn't sure about, that might also be an afordable option.
8K is not going to help you if you are stretching the textures too much. In fact a stretched 8K texture might even look worse. You either need to carefully sculpt them so that the texture is not stretched so much, or tackle the texture map itself in a program that allows you to paint on the model with the texture applied. If the texture is stretching because you are making it massive, then the best way is the second way. There is no texture here that will help you. One thing you could do is use a texture that has less detail. With less detail, then the stretching is not as visible. At least less detail in the area you are stretching.
There might be one other option, but it is not at Daz. The other option is a geograft for the chest that has its own UV. A certain rotic site that sells Daz content for rendering may have this sort of thing. I know they have geografted breast items, but I do not own them so I do not know exactly how they work. I just think they MIGHT help you. For further discussion, considering where the subject matter might end up going, you might want to find a different forum, or perhaps a Daz reddit.
Just in case you don't understand the reference, the site in question is renderotica. But be prepared, it is an adult site, and there are some things that just can't be unseen!!
As previously noted, Cameleon Rose and Renderosity might work for your needs, since she hase here own UV maps that separate the area in question to a larger area. However, you will only be able to easily use her skins (materials) as there aren't any other figurs that use the same UV map.
As for the highest quality figures here, I'll second Bluejaunte, he creates some very detailed figures. Some of the iSource figures also look quite detailed too, as well as several other figures in the store. As you can see from response here, there are several options depending exactly what your needs and preferences are.
There are many Characters that looks nice to me, but Babina is by far the most usable character and textures around. By this I mean that out of the box, with standard lighting you already start with excellent realistic quality model. I have something like 60 or so (EDIT: 64, I counted only those from G8F generation) characters from almost everybody (i suppose).
