Ok, well, have not experienced that yet (I'm not counting 90cm changing to 89.99 ... that's simply the result of converting cm - or inch - to the internal format and back)
Well, I do get this behavior when I change 2 settings simultaniously, if they both influence height;
For instance, on G2F setting height to 165cm and inseam to 75cm and then press accept, the inseam is indeed 75, but the height is 166.06....
I hadn't thought about that, but that's not what I'm doing at all - I'm changing one measurement (in this case, height), verifying the change took, clicking away from the figure, clicking on a completely new figure (or in the case of one-figure-scenes, just clicking empty space, then back) and the height is off.
The same thing happens if I adjust, say, bust measurements (in this case, 32"), click away, come back (31.XXX").
It's seriously not a huge issue, but it's enough of an oddity that my brain is ticking over about it and it has me curious.
What are your system specs?
There is something very odd going on there...and I'd almost want to see a stress test suite run on that machine.
try clicking the Advanced Options box and then increasing Max iterations - that may help, at the expense of taking longer. Do allow for the fact that the script works in cm, the DS native unit, so you are getting two lots of rounding errors if you set and read in Imperial units.
I have the issue, but, I don't really look at it as an issue. Nobodies real measurements remain constant anyways. In the mourning I'm 6 foot at the end of the day I'm 5 foot 11. I don't believe its an issue if she has her time of the month either (Joke intended). None of them remain constant we are organic life forms. I've used other measurement tools to get things close to what I needed to. Then when this came out I realized I was really close with this...lol. But this is well worth the fine tuning. One thing is once you know how to work it with as arsenal or morphs you cam create a great variety of people. Only thing better at this point would be scanning yourself with a more pricey software and then transferring that shape to Genesis (So nice to at least have measurement in a program).
The manual installation instructions are incomplete - they don't say where to put the appdata folder contents. I know someone kindly said in this thread where they go, but that only applies to Windows - I'm on a Mac. I've assumed that the 'Figure Metrics' folder goes in the 'Applications/DAZ 3D/Studio4/resources' folder, but assume this is incorrect because when I launch the script, there are no checkboxes next to the measurements:

I'll check things out on another figure in cm and see what happens. It'll feel a bit odd inputting "90" on the bust, but if it works...

Many thanks MBusch, this has done the trick! Please could someone at DAZ update the instructions in the wiki? Though only some of the measurements have checkboxes now:
EDIT: figured it out, but clearly need to inspect the docs a bit more because I tried changing several parameters at once and then my G2M disappeared below the floor, upside down lol!
Head height is a basic measurement for creating figures. Does this tool provide the height of the head, or have the capacity for the user to create this measurement?
The presets included in the product do not currently provide a Head Height measurement. That said, it is well within the capabilities of the tool for a user to measure the height of a head... or any other distance between two points. Aside from the new node types provided by the plugin (which are responsible for calculating the dynamic measurements), the included presets use features that are standard to recent versions of DAZ Studio, such as Rigid Follow nodes and ERC (property links) - which are used to provide information that the Figure Metrics script then uses to provide an interface that allows a measurement to be specified by a user and then works in reverse in its attempt to achieve it. Provided a user owns a license for the Measure Metrics plugin, the presets could just as easily* be created by someone else. (* "easy" is inherently relative... it requires a certain level of understanding for the features being used.)
As it was initially released, the Figure Metrics script does not allow a user to define a custom unit of measure (such as a Head Height); nor does the Measure Metrics pane. However, as I see value in allowing a user to do so, I've added support for it in a pending update to the Figure Metrics script (along with some [head height] examples); which is currently being tested. Adding this functionality to the Measure Metrics pane is a bit more involved, and so will not be part of this update, but may come in a future update.
@rbtwhiz: It would also be nice to define the preferred measurement scale by metric. E.g. Breast by inches, height by feet/inches, etc. Currently these are set globally for all the measurements, so if I change to centimeter, then all the measurements change to centimeters...

Though I personally wouldn't (none foreseeable, at least) have use for the head height measurement, the fact that you've seen the use of it and done such a quick turnaround on implementing it really speaks highly of you, and makes me all the happier I picked this up.
How are you trying to install it.? With DIM or manually? Whats the file called that you trying to install. If it say Public Build it won't work unless you have the DAZ Studio Beta installed.

I'm installing it manually. It doesn't say Public Build, but I'll download the beta anyway. Could I have the link for it?
For installing manually you need to move the files by hand to the proper locations. The measure metric plugin has an installer, but the figure metrics has some content files and some appdata files that need moved by hand. If you were installing with DIM it automatically puts them where they need to go.

So you didn't use DIM or a stand-alone installer? I'd be very leery of trying to install DS manually from a zip. Chances are there isn't a dzInstall, ini to tell the Measure Metrics installer where DS is installed.

Go to your Product Library and you can download it. Personally I've had no trouble installing DS with DIM.
The update I mentioned is now available; see the ReadMe for additional information. This update, in addition to adding features, resolves the issue of having to manually place files in the application data folder. The Figure Metrics package has been split into two; one content package (zip) with the Wearable Presets, and a separate installer (exe/app) with the Figure Metrics script and the Configuration/Measurement Presets that install to non-content places; i.e. application data. Users of Install Manager will see the update, automatically, the next time they log in (copy/paste sku::16684 into the Filter Field). Or, you can download the files from the Product Library.
And for anyone who may be interested... I've also posted a scripting example for remotely operating the Figure Metrics script; i.e. without displaying the dialog.
Thank you, and you're welcome. The Measure Metrics product originally wasn't going to include the Figure Metrics script at all - that part of it has been a personal nights/weekends project.
