V4 props Autofit to G3F or G8F
I am trying to use full body props on these figures, but after I autofit and try to change the color or pose the character it crashes daz, is there any way to fix this?

You probably need something like this.
Thanks but unfortunately that does not work on props
And this is even more versatile: https://www.daz3d.com/wear-them-all-autofit-clones-expansion-for-genesis-3-male-s-and-genesis-3-female-s meant for G3 not G8, but you can then transfer the new autofitted clothing from G3 to G8. I have and use both products, and each has its own strengths and weaknesses.
I have both of those it does not work with props though or maybe just not the ones I am trying to use
V4 Is older than Genesis 1 (V5) there aren't true mesh compatabilities by default (so no autofits).
If its just a simple prop you can parent and place it in a set pose but it still wont follow properly if you animate or repose.
If daz crashes when you havent used autofits theres a chance theres another issue in your scene.
It would probably help if we had a specific example of what you're trying to fit - I can't think of many examples of "full body props" that aren't effectively handled as clothing.
I'm guessing that https://www.daz3d.com/wear-them-all-autofitting-clones-and-clothing-smoothers-for-genesis-3-female-s is more useful here (this covers Gen4, the version you've linked is the expansion that's mostly Gen3)
And while it's less extensive, as obviously Genesis 8 already comes with all the Genesis shapes, Sickleyield does have a product to add M4 and V4 clones to G8: https://www.daz3d.com/sy-victoria-4-and-michael-4-clones-for-genesis-8
I was trying to use thishttps://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/fembot-2-0/87230/ the author has a G8 version but it is not as easy to work with as this one, because it is just one peice the G8 version has many peices that poke through and need to be adjusted on every pose. I was also trying this https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/v4-machina-robot/110172/, just the mechanical skeleton part on both of those
According to the product pages those are not props, they're conforming figures.
No they are both props they are even in my props folder when I installed them
Being in the props folder doesn't mean much anymore. The skeleton is supposed to be posable, which means it has to be a rigged figure.
Thanks Leana they are possible but some reason they keep crashing Daz, I found kind of a work around I have to pose the figure then autofit, pain in the but though even the slightest movement after will crash
The link that works is a figure (character). Have you tried loading the "mech" solo without applying it to G8? Whats the purpose of trying to put it on G8 anyway? Are you trying to also put clothes on it? If its just textures it'd be a heck of alot easier to paste the G8 texture on the V4 in and image editor. I would just go with the V4 as is, or get the G8 terminator looking one on Daz (https://www.daz3d.com/cyborg-generation-8-female). Bashing the ol poser crap always seems more of a headache than its worth. Check your iray too, because those old poser shaders dont iray no good.
