how to walk through values of an pull down menu?

Is it possible to simple walk through values of an pull down menu - eg the cams in viewport?

Usually I know cursor up/down  (on pc) for that but it doesn't work.

    Works for me as well. The pulldown stays open and you can either drag the mouse pointer or scroll with the arrow keys.

    & sorry for the misunderstanding - missing details.

     

    I mean if you selected a cam in viewport & the viewport is actualized, I tried then cursor up/down (without open or clicking on menu).

    From other software I know that you can walk through values in such way - like changing the last changed value. Or to move mouse over the closed menu and scroll through values by mousewheel (without open or clicking on menu).

    Is there such a way?

    I doubt it, but it's probably possible to write a script or plugin that can do this, either with its own menu or by modifying the existing ones.
