Ava HD for Tika 8

Hi, I have the "Ava HD for Tika 8". It is supposed to be for just Genesis 8 Female but the name suggests that it is connected to Tika 8 somehow. It is nothing under required product. Also on teh page for Tka 8 Ava is not one of the Add ons. I don't have Tika 8 and I think Ava looks very different from the pictures at the product page https://www.daz3d.com/ava-hd-for-tika-8. Especially the chin and cheeks are different. So my question is: Will Ava look different compared to now if I also have Tika 8 even thou it does not say Tika 8 is required? Or will she look the same as now when I don't have Tika 8?

    Short answer: yes. Once you have Tika, the Ava morph will incorporate some percentage of Tika’s morph, thus looking like the character featured in the promos.

    I'm surprised Tika is not listed as required, especially as Ava is part of the Tika Pro Bundle.

    I own the character, I'll check if she uses the Tika morph and get back to you.

    edit: looks like Gordig had the answer. I'll flag it to the mods so they can get the product page fixed.

    Addon sections on pages don't always list all the available addons; they seem intended to be purchase suggestions rather than a comprehensive list. I see five addon characters on Tika's page plus a set of poses, but she actually has at least nine characters I think.

    Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a way to see all of a base figure’s derivatives. The “figure” drop-down in the store only lets you search by a handful of named figures, and not every add-on character has both the base figure’s name in the product name AND the base listed as a requirement. Just today, I stumbled on a character that is “for Genesis 8 female”, but required Edie 8.

    Yes it is a bit of detective work, but now I managed to buy Tika 8 with differnt discounts for about 5 dollars. So now I will see if it works! smiley  cheeky

    Add-ons list on product page is based on products listing that one as required.

    Ava HD for Tika 8 product page clearly says Tkia 8 as required product. I don't see where the "I have the "Ava HD for Tika 8". It is supposed to be for just Genesis 8 Female" comes from. Tha name alone is a dead giveaway.

    It does now because we flagged it to Daz and they fixed the page. It didn't when the thread was started.

    I just remembered to load Ava into a scene, and she uses Tika's body at 70% and head at 60%.

    And yet the product is titled Ava HD for Tika 8. If the character looks different from the promos without Tika 8, there's your second clue.

    They corrected the page after we asked DAZ about it, as Leana wrote.
