Install Manager - DAZ Studio 4.x Public Build (64-bit)

Hello!

I just upgraded my system and migrated all my DAZ resources to the new machine. Everything is set up and running fine, except that Install Manager doesn't seem to have a way for me to indicate the Application path for
DAZ Studio 4.x Public Build (64-bit). Under Settings, in the Applications tab, I have the path to DAZ Studio 4.5+ (64-bit) set, but I think there used to be a way to set a seperate path for the Beta. How do I do that? (I have the filters set under Download for the private and public build options, and yes I do "own" the Beta.) Thoughts?

Thanks!

  • DIM will set the path when it installs the beta - the betas must be isntalled through DIM

I assume I will have to uninstall and then re-install? I can't recall any optionin DIM to just reinstall a package...

If you right-click on items in the Installed tab there should be an option to Reinsall Using Current Paths, for the fiel right-clcked upon or for all selected. You can use the filter box at top-right to select the content installed to a specific path if you moved only some products and don't want to reinstall the rest.

Thanks, Richard. I eventually got it to work - I think there may have been some DIM connectivity issues at the time, but it is all set up correctly not.

    Thanks!
