Genesis Generation X2, any conflicts?

For some reason many years ago I intentionally didn't install Genesis Generation X2,( https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-generation-x2 ) but I no longer remember why. Were there any potential conflicts with any other products, or is there any reason I shouldn't just give it a try?

i think there was a hiccup with genX at one point...after a daz studio update, the genX panel wasn't appearing or working.
they fixed that prety quickly, and i've never run into any issues with it since then. some people do run into trouble if they don't have the full set of modules required for a conversion. (they sort of daisychain.) there's better info on that on the genX2 commercial thread than i can rattle off just now.
there is a bit of a learning curve with it. the documentation is good, but (in my experience) requires advice from the forums to figure out. i fire it up and use it every year or so. and it always takes me a couple of days to get the workflow sorted out again. but then, i'm slow. :)
as usual with conversion products, HD morphs don't carry over.
if you're interesting in bringing a character all the way up to genesis 8, though--both of the g3 to g8 converters currently available seem to sometimes have issues when converting genX'd characters to g8. i'm not up to speed on the subject, currently. but the commercial thread for those converters should give you some idea how the individual vendors are approaching that.
the genX character conversion from g2 and below is really nice. but for me, the strongest point of the genX converter is its ability to translate morph packages from earlier generations to g3.
good luck!

Is that why I didn't buy it? I finally (recently) bought it and the Genesis 2 expansion - I absolutely Love it!
I docked it at the bottom so I can drag the bottom panel up and use the whole screen with it. Not necessary, but it works great for me. My new character is Genesis 1 Base Female with many morphs from Genesis 2 Female, Aiko 6, Gia 6, Keiko 6 along with the expressions and Poke-away for Genesis 2 Female, and then a whole slew of stuff from V4's Morphs++ for nice intricate morph tweaks, and then all of the expressions I bought for V4. I love this because my favorite textures are V4.
