On the Other Hand...

Y'know, it was sad for me to realize that most of the time I come here because I'm frustrated (and probably cranky) about something that is a problem.  Sure, this is the place you *should* come to try to find answers, but maybe people start to look at you like you're a rain cloud with legs.

Soooo...I wanted to take a moment to drop a note that is much more sunshiney.

I've been using Daz Studio and buying products from the Daz Store for a lot of years, and I keep doing it because the process of making digital art makes me ridiculously happy.  For a long time I wanted to express myself and my imagination through line art.  Try as I might, though, I never managed to draw anything that was even close to what I had in my head.  It was all rather depressing.  One day, as a bit of a lark, I gave Daz Studio a whirl, and I've never looked back.  I create something every day, and every day I think I get a little better at the process.  I learn by doing, and I'm constantly figuring out ways of bettering my art.  Daz Studio put joy into my life, and gave me something to genuinely look forward to every morning.  My imagination never looked so good.

Just wanted to say thanks very much.

I feel the same. Despite all the frustration I experience with Studio, the store, the sales, the content I wish existed but doesn't sell, my own stupidity and everything else I am happy that I started with Studio and I don't regret it a bit. I never thought I could express my ideas like I can now and creating art with Studio has become an essential part of my life. I have a very uncreative job and having an outlet to realize my creative ideas has been a worthy experience.

As a person who can't draw or paint to save my life, Daz Studio opened up the world of creativity to me and for that I will be eternally gratefull. Both my boat and bank account wish I had a cheap hobby like golf or skydiving but...
