Unable to View LAMH (Look At My Hair) products in NVIDIA Iray/Render Mode

Hello. For some reason, I am unable view all of my animal characters that have fur or hair using LAMH plugin or the Catalyzer. When I open the character and "Attach LAMH Preset" using the LAMH plugin, I see the hairs in the Texture mode or Cartoon mode, but when I try viewing it in Render mode (NVIDIA Iray mode) none of the hairs are visible. Please advise. I'm not sure if this is related, but I recently purchased two dforce hair models and those two, including the dforce Afro Styles Hair are also not showing the hair in Render mode.

Regular LAMH presets will not show in Iray previews or renders. Catalyzer presets cannot be previewed, and you must use the Catalyzer's Render button.

To get the LAMH hair to show up and render in Iray you need to convert it to Fibrehair. Set the pose for the figure first before doing this as the Fibrehair doesn't auto follow. The Catalyzer works as @North0f45 has said and the dForce hair doesn't show up until you do a full render, if I remember correctly.

Oh, sorry, missed the dForce hair. You can preview something better than the hair guides (like in LAMH) by setting the Pre-Render parameters (Parameters->General->Simulation->Hair->Pre Render) to ON. You can increase the quality of the preview by increasing Line Tesselation (Viewport for previews, Render for, well, renders). It could take a little while to redraw as you change it. Those you can do Iray preview and spot renders.

Too many hair types... The Tesselation and Pre-Render parameters are for Strand-based hair, which can be dForce or not. Vendors have the ability to make them dForce, but users can only make static strand-based hair. There was an earlier version of dForce hair that used the dForce cloth method on the traditional ribbon-type hairs. They used standard bitmaps that can be viewed like any other. There might have been some dForce fibremesh hair, also, but that sounds like a nightmare of collision hell.
