..#1:  the PC+ sale with "PC+for a day" offerings.  Made out like the proverbial bandit this year.

#2:  integrating strand based hair generation (formerly the old Garibaldi plugin) into the programme and making it Iray compatible.

dForce Hair was a monumental thing, something I've been wanting for Daz since I started using it a few years ago.

Strand based hair specifically, as opposed to dforce hair; the dforce hair is welcome enough, I buy anything strand related, whereas dforce makes me cautious, and I've even returned.

    Mesh Grabber

Yeah thanks to this year's PC+ sale, I pretty much have more content than I could ever possibly use. As far as favourite tools, I'll remember this year for all of the great ways I can now convert G3F characters to G8F :)

  • I really love 4.12, I'm rendering animation frames much faster on the new laptop I got with a 2060 than my desktop that has a 1080ti largely because with the post denoiser working better with the RTX card. And integrating keymate in there as well is a huge timesaver.

As for characters, Kaneda and Yuzuru have found themselves being dialed into everything I do the past few months, so I would say those two characters are top of the pops for me.

And what helped immensely for the graphic novel I've been doing has been ManFriday's Render Queue, I hope 2020 sees an animated sequence option for that be released for the animations I'm working on. I have to try the mesh grabber thing soon as well.

Also, I agree with the sentiments above, the PC+ sale was absolutely amazing this year.
