Another question for the No Suit For Genesis 8 Male users...

I found a work around applying the No Suit to the Genesis 8 Male/Michael 8 figure, (it applies the No Suit to the body, leaves the head unchanged) but in doing so, the resulst aren't as flexible (e.g. can't make gloves or socks for instance).  When using the Genesis 8 figure that comes with the No Suit, the "wrinkles" or suit textures stay on the face, even after applying the skin Maps...and applying facial expressions can give some ghoulish effects...

I'm probably missing a step, so...how do I smooth out the facial wrinkles and give the hero some facial expressions?  Happy, angry, worried...etc.  All help appreciated :)

Those wrinkles are morph dials on the figure; If you select the figure and go to Parameters> Currently Used, you will see the sliders that determine the wrinkles for every section of the No Suit so that you can dial out the wrinkles for the chin but keep them for the forehead for example.

Thanks!  Now this will sound like a silly question, but does the G8 male figure (that comes with the No Suit) have any teeth?  Last time I tried to give it an angry look, it resulted into something akin to a toothless zombie!

  • Case in point the figure on the left is my base "Joey" model, the one on the right is the Genesis 8 figure that comes with the No Suit...I applied the same rage facial expression to both...what's with the face?  No teeth!

The short answer is Yes! and the teeth are actually there.  My guess is that you still have the mouth geograft still attached.  There is a property of geografts and clothes which can tell the figure to make the structure beneath to be invisible to prevent pokethrough.  If you delete the facial geografts and dial out the facial wrinkle morphs, you should see the teeth as illustrated:

  • In the freebies over at one if the other sites mightymites have some emblem packs that are I think conforming props. And the bat symbol is in one of the sets.

I used one for my first iteration of the suit, although I had to position it manually for use on G8 and parent it to the chest. Even converting them caused a lot of warping when fit to the figure, and I could never get the right combo of morphs to really smooth it out.

Downloaded it last week, somehow, the Mighty Mite kits don't seem to work for me, there are always "can't locate missing file" error messages when I try to merge the props to scene|
