Firefox. So, I can download via my browser, but it must be pointing into the DIM "Download" folder?

No, you keep confusing the Download button - which can go anywhere, though you will have to then place the file in the Install Manager Package Archive folder to install it - with the Download and Install button - which is, I'm pretty sure, the one giving you the error and which passes the file details on to DIM so that it can download the product and install it. If Firefox doesn't yet know what to do with the daz3dim files used for the Download and Install button it should pop-up a prompt like this

Click Choose and select the Install Manager application file from Program Files and check Remember my choice.

Thank you Richard. I think I now understand and also know what was going wrong. If a pop-up is supposed to appear, it can't because I have pop-ups disabled. So, I will enable pop-ups and see what happens. Thank you for taking the time to make the screen shots for me ... they helped me visually get what is going on =)

  • As far as I know it's a Firefox pop-up dialogue, not a site pop-up.
