I noticed that too.  If they weren't in the oven frosted, it would have been an instant buy for me.

Well the cupcakes have Material files for the icing so maybe you could turn off the icing ......

probably thought iced cupcakes looked more appealing in the promo than flat ones with no icing

It didn't happen if there is no link to the product in question.  Just sayin'.

    That's meringue carefully colored!

Can't you just turn the material of the frosting to transparent for pre-iced cupcakey goodness? :)

  • I don't think it's the issue of not being able to fix it for a realistic situation

    but

the absurdity of the promo renders

same as a real person posing with actual iced cupcakes being taken out the oven

...so, has anybody who picked up the set tried this?  is the frosting (plus sprinkes) a separate mat zone?

could be there's nothing that looks cupcakey under there.

Thanks, Chohole .  Some things are only clear if already known. I had no clue which product they were talking about, but now I am curious too if the frosting can be hidden until the appropriate time.

I went and looked and there is cupcake under the frosting though it is just below the edge of the paper; it is a beige brown (I'm thinking a vanilla), a crumpy texture and the color can be changed easily. The frosting and sprinkles can be made invisible by changing the cutoff opacity.

Oh, that is a character named Sebastian in the Daz store plus some DarwinsMishap tattoos and the Hipster outfit, the ear gauges in the Daz store, a Gen 8 ring set, and a light frosting of freckles from a freckle set for G8 in the store.

thanks for the heads-up, nemesis10.  good to know.

that is a really nice character.  you totally nailed the look.  i swear i've seen that character in line at a jamba juice on a friday night somewhere before.  his ink wasn't that good, though.
