Can Anyone ID the gorgous outfit in Cecile Lau Character Promo?

Please can anyone help me identify the outfit used in the Cecile Lau Character and Hair for G8F promo - the first one on the fourth row of promo pics?

I've dug around in the store here and at Rendo  but found nothing - help please - thanks!

This caught my eye, too, I'd love to know where this came from as well. It is absolutely beautiful. It must not be from here, because there are links to other outfits used in the promos.

Yes, I noticed that most (or all) of the other promo outfits were listed. If it was custom-made by WindField then I hope it gets a store release here!

My first impression was that it kind of looked like a stock photo.

It does look like that to me too. The clothes part is a photo, with just the head and hands as the rendered figure.

Well, I hope the three of you are wrong, but looking closely I think you may well be right - those folds and creases do look very real. Thanks for looking, anyway!

It did to me too...like they cut out the photo of the outfit and posed the figure to match. I'd be willing to bet on it.

Things change I remember a time when we were told that postwork wasn't allowed on promos, it also looks like a photo to me which if it isn't,  its extremely impressive.

I also fell in love with that outfit. I had hoped someone would ask on the forum, and another would point all of us to a 3D source. Sigh.

Clothing PAs, please take note, that is one of the styles that I really would love to see provided. It is gorgeous.

When I was stationed in Taiwan, I would watch the Chinese Historical Kung-Fu Shows and loved the clothing, and the action. Generally was clueless as to what was being said, as it was not in English. But, the costumes, the costumes!

For both sexes, the clothing is gorgeous.

I was really hoping it was something available.

I tried to use a reverse image search, and I came across a catalog website of Chinese clothing. Looking through this I found one that is kind of close.

I followed the link in that pic and wow! what an amazing stack of clothing at that store. Yes, it does look similar, especially that scarf. Lots of inspiration there for anyone with the skill to make clothing.

  • Are there any comments from the vendow on this, anywhere?

    That would be a help.
