Morph loader Pro

Export - > Genesis 8 Female - > *.obj

- > Morph loader Pro *.obj

Warning: Geometry did not match, failed to create morph.

There should be no error

My guess would be that you didn't set Genesis 8 to "base resolution" before exporting, so your obj is a subdivided version of G8F, not the G8F base mesh.

Another possibility would be that you exported her with the geografted eyelashes, which also aren't part of the base mesh.

Load the Developer version of G8 as it is ready to export as loaded.

Is the developer version a separate download? Or tucked away in a non-obvious spot?

No, it's the version with a grey figure in the thumbnail that installs as part of the Starter Essentials.

  • I do not understand how I changed the settings of the base G3 model.
I have the settings for the G3 base model of another character, and the settings for the G3 base model apply to all characters.

    How to reset default settings?

  • The default has SubD on, you need to set the resolution to base with that

No, that's already been done. In the Parameters pane under Mesh Resolution, set the mesh resolution to Base (leaving the SubD Level sliders alone).

  • I have morphs in the starting model used.

Mesh Resolution, It will help for sure?

  • I'm not sure what the image is showing. If you awnt to add a new layer on top of existing morphs then you need those morphs to still be in effect when you bring the new shape back, and then to check Reverse Deformations in the importer dialogue.

using base resolution, and exporting just the figure, will ensure you don't get errors for vertex counts not matching.

  • Ok, everything worked out!
When I create additional polygons for a more detailed model, the morph ceases to be created.
Is it possible to make more polygons?
    I work in Hexagon 2.5!

No, not without a specific tool that is available only to Daz PAs - the rest of us (and PAs when not making content for the store) are limited to the base mesh.
