Taller Female and Shorter Male Figures
I'm looking to expand my purchased figure line in Daz Studio application with adult human figures (no children, teens, elderly, fantasy or stand-alones) that differ a bit from the more common sizes of people in society.
I am interested in purchase female figures no shorter than 6'1' (≥ 185cm+) and male figures no taller than 5'11' (≤ -180cm) when loaded straight into Viewport and measured with Measure Metrics.
For reference, these are some of the figures I currently own:
Female: Aniyah G8 (185cm), Retro Heroine G3 (186cm), Porsha G2 (187cm), Nadya G8 (188cm), Priya G3 (190cm), Haylee G3 (191cm), Ragna G8 (192cm)
Male: Tobias G3 (171cm), Lucas G8 (176cm), Christian G8 (181cm), Owen G8 (181cm).
Currently considering Candida G8 (who looks fairly tall in the promos) and Diego 8 G8 (who's under 180cm).
Any other figure recommendations that meets the above requirement?
My preference is for complete figures with included material presets over shaping morph packs which I already have.
I'd even be interested in older Genesis 4 and Victoria 4 figures, but that generation seems rather limited with the details and promo pics making it difficult to assess the height of the figures.
It'd be ideal if more vendors generally put the height of the figure in the details to make shopping a bit easier.

We don't need to do that all though I did make my last one taller than V8, there is a height dial for both G8M and G8F so it's not that hard to access the dial.

The latest from Bluejaunte https://www.daz3d.com/nadya-hd--smile-hd-expression-for-genesis-8-female is around 1.85 m
You do realize, that a PA is just as likely to use the above mentioned height dial when they create a character along with any other DAZ morphs you yourself have access to if you have the base morphs when they create their character.
If you want rendom characters this is your best bet IMO

Both work great with any morphs you have installed, but I prefer the first versions UI myself
I'm fully aware of the fact there's height and leg length morphs. They're in fact amongst the first add-ons I purchased for the application.
However, sometimes I don't feel like doing extensive adjustments, particularly on shorter figures where considerable added height can look disproportionate without further adjustments.
Sometimes, i'd just prefer to pop a figure into Viewpoint and render it straight out of the box with unique materials, hence the request for figure recommendations.
Found another male figure which i'm eyeing also given the height:

Can I buy figures and then return them within a certain time period for exchange store credit if they don't meet expectations?
Yes, you can return items here within 30 days of purchase.
So you would return a figure just because of height, something that can be easily changed by the user, wow
Sorry, but that is hard for me to fathom, I have to alter every figure i use, I never use any of them "out of the box". I chalk it up as part of the creative process
I find it utterly bizarre, frankly, because there are so so so many ways to make figures taller or shorter.
Just to correct something, there are morphs that very naively change figure height. You can add maybe 2cm without the proportions being wrong.
I've struggled with this a lot myself. Having the majority of the line of both male and female characters stand 185cm, 6' tall, is not just not realistic it makes producing a 160cm, 5' 2", figure just with morphs impossible. Sure you can dial the morphs to those heights but the proportions will be wrong. Shorter people just aren't proportioned like fashion models.
The Gx base figures should be built to the, Western, average heights (Roughly 163 cm, 5' 4", for the female and 175, 5' 9", for the male). Then if a PA wants to release a fashion model they're still welcome to but those of us who want normally proportioned figures will at least have them. And then perhaps the makers of environments and props will start scaling them accurately to the figures (I'm sick to death of trying to pose a character on furniture and achieving a natural looking pose to find the figure's lower legs under the floor).
Have you seen the Short Boyfriend/Tall girlfriend shape & pose presets? I think they might be what you're looking for. https://www.daz3d.com/z-my-short-boyfriend-shape-presets-and-poses-for-genesis-8
There's this companion set by the same PA, as well. Short Girlfriend and Tall Boyfriend Shape Presets included. (I haven't used either set as I primarily use G3 and earlier)
