LilSideChallenge #10 - Antiquing

A challenge for shader fun stuff. 
model furnitures and shelves
refurbish old poser 4 props,
make something look antique or vintage.
Challenge includes steam punk,


why am i up at 1 am ?  watching home and garden channel.
 

distressing furniture, 

a vintage mustashio , hair style.

challenge deadline 29th Dec 2019
will start a separate thread for entries & open vote

da rulez, 

no post work,  (could add a sig by text primitive or map it to a plane), or cutout plug in
rendered in Carrara,
plugins okay, including octane and lux
new render or rework an old
animation video clips, ani gifs, hosting media from another site okay
enter as many entries as you want.
and have fun!!

    I was caught by no postwork rule.  Had to make some adjsutments.  Hope this is OK.  I wanted it to be black and white and mussed up a bit.  I rendered out the color version.  I started a new scene.  I inserted a plane.  I used 3d paint to generate a mussed up image for the plane.  I then set up a mixer of the original color image, made black and white using a b/w gradient in the shader, blended with my painted on mussed up stuff.

    Very nice! I'm pretty sure that folows the rules - Misty will let us know.

    On a side note, I haven't tried the "Noir" plugin by DCG yet - but I recall it being somewhat like GMIC an some ways, back when I was reading about it (before it went Open Source). Just a nudge for getting BW/Nostalgic renders. 

    ...but what you've done here is Out-of-this-world Cool!!! Way to think outside the box!
