Trial and error using No Suit

I finally found this step by step that's (kind of) easy to follow (don't forget, I'm a noob):
- The first thing you need to do is use the No-Suit figure. Shape it and skin it as you wish. The skin part will look pretty weird on the No Suit figure, but do not panic.
- Next, bring up the Surface Selection Tool, which allows you to select surfaces. You will want to select areas that have skin on them as opposed to the default shader. If you just want to mess with the face and such, then selecting the area around the eyes will be sufficient, as that has the info for the entire face surface. Otherwise, select the surface that has the skin for the torso area first, as that not only gives you the info for the torso's surface, but for the back of the head as well. Once you have the surface you want selected, go into Edit and select Copy Selected Surface(s) under the Copy menu. Now you are ready to book.
- The next thing you need to do is go into Materials and apply the No-Suit Materials for both the main body and the grafts for your chosen rendering method. If you're going with Iray, go with MDL, while 3Delighters should pick the RSL option. You will want to keep the Surface Selection Tool open, as that will not only allow you to apply the shaders you want to the main suit, but paste your copied skin settings using the Paste To Selected Surface(s) option under the Paste menu in Edit for those areas you want "uncovered".
- From there, all you need to do is apply the shaders you want to the main suit using the Surface Selection Tool, while using Paste To Selected Surface(s) to apply your copied skin settings to areas you want "uncovered." Depending on the general look you want, you will also want to remove some grafts to expose the ears, the nose and the mouth. For the lower face, for example, you will want to "uncover" the lower face this way and then remove the grafts for the mouth and the nose.
And copied the morphs from my original character onto th Genesis 8 form, thus far, I have this:
Now the question is, how do I remove that full head mask from her head? This character is supposed to have a domino mask and long hair; and yes, I did Copy Selected Surface(s) under the Copy menu, but I can't get rid of that green mask...what step did I miss?

You should be able to select the "suit pieces" covering the head in the scene tab and delete them.
That will delete the entire suit.
You sould simply be able to copy and paste your face skin settings onto all the areas where you want the skin to show through
Do you mean the "grafts"? When I remove those it leaves a hole in the head. I'll keep looking for actual suit pieces though, thanks!
nope....not the grafts.....if you first applied your skin materials before you applied the No-suit materials, there are areas left in the face where the skin settings are still showing. Pick that area and copy and paste into the material zones where the no suit materials show up
and if you delete a graft..there will be no hole in the head.
That's just way too fiddly for me. I just load a second figure I want to copy the look of, V8 or something. Then I copy the torso mats, or the head or arms etc., and paste them onto the various corresponding surfaces.
GOT IT!
Copy Selected Surface, then paste to selected surface! I wasn't selecting the right copy/paste options!
Yes I meant the grafts. Did you actually remove them (ie delete them), not just set them invisible? Grafts replace parts of the original mesh, so you need to actually remove them to get the original mesh back.
Well I suggested removing some grafts because of this part of the instructions: "Depending on the general look you want, you will also want to remove some grafts to expose the ears, the nose and the mouth. For the lower face, for example, you will want to "uncover" the lower face this way and then remove the grafts for the mouth and the nose.'
Thanks. I tried it. The skin texture shows up but the wrinkles of the suit is still there... Do you know any solution?
