Looking for the content maker MLB Graphics

Not sure at all where to put this. I've asked on Renderosity.com but no one has even answered. Well someone did but it vanished...

I created an update cr2 addon for his freebie EX04 bathing suit for V4. I wanted to let him/her know that I've created a cr2 to give a whole slew of morphs for his morphless suit, and have it ready to go upload to share. But I can't find hide nor hair of the person. I've googled, I've gone to a number of places where I got the original suit and searched for the suit name as well as the maker's name. Nothing.

I am also daring to venture...if I can't find this individual, and to keep the suit available, I am considering adding it onto my freebie with a really obvious and blatant disclaimer in the readme as well as put onto the preview thumbnail who made the original suit. I don't exactly want to do that due to copyright/maker ownership...

The original suit isn't perfect. It has some issues - especially in the gen area where it'll go really funky as in a section will stick out but not break the mesh. But it is worthy of having morphs! It really is a nice bathing suit, aside from the issues caused by posing.

Attached is the ad I've created (but need a tiny update) for the bathing suit, fitting one of my V4 characters (well, body. face is Freja Sephira), and you can see it looks pretty good. And I'm attaching just incase MLB Graphics or someone who knows him/her sees it and passes word along...

Thanks!

LS

Don't share your modifications without permission - if that isn't given in the readme. There is a forum member mylemonblue who was often referred to as MLB, but I don't know if that's the MLB in question - I haven't seen him post heer for a while, but I did see a recent post at Renderosity so you might try PMing him there to ask if it's his set.

Looks like he was known as 'Michael' on Poser Freestuff.

    EXo4 Victoria 4

He had a lot of stuff there, but all the links appear to lead to dead ShareCG pages.

MLBgraphics still has a member page on ShareCG, even though there aren't any items i the gallery. I don't know whether the "Send Mail" button on that page connects to a working address, but it's worth a try...

Thanks guys. I didn't even get this many replies at Rendo... I'll see if I can chase him/her down on RDNA...

If worse comes to worse and you can't find him, you should be fine if you turned your morphs into an injectable pz2 and distributed that.

That's the thing. I don't know how to do that. I used PP2014 to copy the morphs from V4 and "pasted" them to the suit and saved it as a conforming figure .crz (.cr2 was hidding inside so just unzipped it to get to it). It's all ready to go. Just need the green light and blessing from the original maker, and update the ad and readme.

I'm very new to all this adding morphs to clothes stuff, so...yeah...

Also, I found Asil on RDNA. I sent a rather long and friendly pm. I hope I get a reply quickly. I hate sitting on something I've created someone else could make good use of...

Err.. that might be a whole different issue in itself. Are we allowed to just copy the morphs from V4 and distribute with those in the clothing? I always thought fits were custom or based on magnets.

In any case, what I do to create injects, is enable binary morph targets in Poser's general prefs and save a cr2 of what I want/need that has the morphs in it. This will put the morphs from the cr2 into an external pmd file next to the cr2. From there I pull the pmd into Binary Morph Editor by Dimension3D @ Rendo and create inject/remove scripts from there (the app lets you do everything- pmd based inj/rem, non-pmd based, grouping, renaming, deleting, etc). Once I know it all works, I either delete the newly saved cr2/pmd or back them up depending on what it was I was making/converting.

    Hmmm...

All PP2014 makes is a .crz (a zip with .cr2 inside), .png thumbnail and a .xmp (a pretty harmless metadata file from my research). NO .pmd files. which I made thorough sure of. Ive had a problem with those in my old v4 figure freebies before... :-/ Live and learn. Alas I cannot afford any software to make the mat poses. Im lucky I found out PP2014 has a morph "copy" option via doing a google search and found a vid intro/tutorial by Smith Micro. Far too many clothes without or not enough morphs...

Sadly, the skydrive link's dead, too...

I've sent a query via MLBgraphics on SCG, may get a response...

( I'm hunting some classic P4F freebies wink)
