My figure and ground is rotating - how to correct?

I have a g8 figure. Was messing around with the animations in the g8 folder.. applied one. Now, when i try to do a Y rotate, the entire ground rotates with the figure moving in a huge arc ... so the figure is not rotating on the Y axis at all. The camera is doing the same thing.

I cannot figure out how I can delete that animation I applies. It is actually one of the AniMate poses ... in AniMate, there was a yellow section for a couple sections..but i see no way of deleting that. I hit Minus icon, the yellow went away, but the figure still is not rotating on the Y axis.

How to get the figure to react properly to the translate dials?

That sounds as if the hip has been trasnlated (which it shouldn't be, if that's a pose from Daz please report it) and you are rotating by the figure node.
