What is the hair that is on this character?

Looks perfect for this old school Giganta image I'm doing.

    A link to the product page the promo is taken from may help establish which character the hair is for, how old it is etc..

    Sorry, I thought I did.  It's Yukio for Lee 8 and Genesis 8.

    I looked for a possible link for the hair in Additional Products Used in Promo section and couldn't find it.

    In terms of the general look, I suspect that it's probably a female hair; there's not a lot of male hairs with that look.

    The closest I can immediately think of is https://www.daz3d.com/layered-fringe-hair-for-genesis-3-and-8-females - but that didn't come out much before, so it's perhaps not very likely.

    I suspect it's a rather old hair because of the jagged look but of course that could be autofit bone distortions.

    That's the closest that I could think of here at DAZ as well, though the way it's been splayed about makes it hard to be sure.  That said, if it's something older, it could be one of 3Dream/Mairy's old products that aren't sold here anymore, as it looks a lot like https://www.daz3d.com/xenia-hair

    If Lee 8 came out after Mei Lin8, then this hair came out before Lee 8 because it's part of the Mei Lin 8 Pro Bundle...and I do believe this is that hair.

    Looks like a kitbash to me. The bangs and length look like they might be separate hair. You could send @DarwinsMishap a DM and ask him. :)

    I don't recall the exact timing, but usually the female/male equivalents come out two weeks apart. I know that PAs often have access to some things in advance, but given that store items need to be queued up in advance, the timing would be very tight if we're going by when each was available on the store.
