How can I extract figure positions at the end of an animated sequence?

Ok, I have three figures I have animated from separate starting positions to a complex intertwined group at 30 frames. I would like to be able to bring these figures in their final (frame 30) position into a new scene at frame 01. Is there a simple way to save these characters in position without having to use Pose Presets?

    Let's see...save the three figures including hair, clothes etc as a subset. Load the set into a new scene. At frame 30, select all figures, go to the parameters pane, select figure/memorize figure. Go to frame 0, select clear figure/clear figure animation (from memory) or along those lines. Select figure/restore figure.
