It looks as if the GPU has only 2GB, by the specs at https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/geforce-mx150.c2959 , which won't be a lot of use for Iray.
I have a similar laptop, but I have a 6gig 970m and I need every bit of it. You might want to get one with a larger gfx card if you can ;)
