Forum - could do with an update?

Find the Daz forums very hard to navigate. Suggestions...

• Improved search feature eg. more accurate, ability to search by phrase etc.
• Ability to view new or unanswered posts
• Change order of replies in a thread eg. new to old, old to new etc.

..well long long ago we actually had a halfway decent search function with search filters so it didn't hit every post with your keyword in it.  That was back when the forum software was held together with chewing gum, bailing wire, and duct tape.

There is a script on Ati's site which uses google when a search is put in the forum search box.

Go to the gear symbol at the top right of the forum, click on it and use Recent Discussions which will open a page with all the forums with new posts. Just scroll through it and open the ones you are interested in. This is how I view the forum all the time and I have the forum open on that page by default with a saved URL.

To view the forums from old to new just click on the numbers at the bottom of the page. ! takes you to the first page which is the oldest, the highest number takes you to the newest page with the newest posts.

Yes, had that figured out pretty early on :)
