Could someone translate Daz English for me?

The headline text on todays sale says:

TODAY ONLY:

Buy any New Release to get 5% OFF* a Gift Card & a Platinum Club Plus For a Day Item for each additional New Release purchased get an EXTRA 5% OFF*

I can't be the only person who can't decipher what this means.  It could mean:

"Buy any new release to get 5% off a gift card, and 5% off a platinum club plus for a day item"

or, it could mean:

 "Buy any new release to get 5% off a gift card, and to get a platinum club plus for a day item free"

 

Apparently it means neither of those because putting one of the pc for a day items in the cart with a new release seems to make no difference at all.  As much as I appreciate the PC sale, I'm tired of trying to decipher what is actually meant by the sales text and the apparently arcane combinations that go together. 

Can't we please just have some plain text to tell us what offers are available for that day?

    With four new items from today, you can get the max 20% discount on a gift card. The new items, without any other possible discounts, looks to be max of 37%.

    I had the same thing happen, and just dumped the new releases from my cart and only went with 'PC For The Day' stuff and one wishlist item. I've just about given up trying to make sense of the Pidgin Swahili or whatever it is that's the native language in Dazland no

    Thank you, Cris but it was more the "PC for a Day" part that I am struggling to understand.  It isn't "5% off a pc for a day item" (which would be pointless on a $1.99 item anyway), but neither is it that you have to buy a pc for a day item to get the 5% off the new release item.  So either something isn't working, or whoever wrote it means something that I'm just not seeing.

    Thank you, Cris.  I hadn't considered that it was an error and just assumed the text was phrased incorrectly.
